Can I brew Tea with the brewer?
Sort of. You can’t actually brew tea, but you can heat water for your tea. Just brew water without the coffee and filter tray and you’ll have hot water in a just few minutes. Fun tip: Hot water from the brewer also works great for dried soups and noodles.
Can I make Hot Chocolate with the brewer?
Sure can. You can heat water without the coffee and filter tray and have a hot cup of Hot Chocolate in minutes. Just make sure you’re using water and not milk in the brewer. Also, be careful not to use too much water (we suggest 6 ounces). This way you'll avoid an overflow mess.
How do I clean/maintain my brewer?
Good question. You use plain white vinegar and water. Roughly equal portions of both equating to 10-ounces total will do the trick. Pour the mixture into the water reservoir, place a cup on the cup platform, and push the brew button. Do this once more and then finish the process with just cold water to flush the system. Voila!
Periodic cleaning will most certainly extend the life of your Café Valet brewer. In areas with hard water, cleaning on a monthly basis is recommended.
What size cup should I use?
Your brewer can make a 10-ounce cup of great tasting coffee in just a few minutes. For a stronger cup of joe, try using 8 ounces of water.
Can I purchase the brew basket "only?"
Unfortunately, no. The brew basket and coffee filter are only sold together.
What is the warranty on the brewer?
All brewers come with a one (1) year limited warranty. For more details, please see our warranty page.
What Credit Cards do we accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
When will my order ship?
If placed Monday through Friday, orders typically ship the same day provided we receive the order by 2:00 pm CST/CDT. Orders submitted after 2:00 pm are shipped the next business day. Orders place over the weekend will ship on Monday.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
Not yet, but maybe someday. We provide shipping to the 48 contiguous states. Unfortunately, we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
Is there a shipping or processing fee?
Yes and no. We offer free shipping for orders of $55 or more (not including taxes). For orders less than $55 (before taxes) there is a flat shipping and handling charge of $6 per order. There are no processing fees.
How can I track the status of my shipment?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to track the shipment. You can also log in to your account and click the “view order status” button on the left side of the screen.
My brewer stopped working all of a sudden. What happened?
It probably just needs to cool down. Once you have brewed a cup of coffee, wait approximately one minute before attempting to brew a second cup. Pressing the button will not turn the brewer on again until it has cooled and reset itself for the next brew cycle. If that doesn’t answer your question, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
I plugged in my brewer and I can’t turn it off. What’s the deal?
The button was likely depressed before brewer was plugged in. If so, you cannot turn the brewer off by pushing the button. Wait approximately 10 seconds for the machine to detect an absence of water and then it will shut off automatically.
How do I earn loyalty points and how can I use them?
Easy. Set up a profile on our website and you’ll be automatically enrolled in our loyalty points program. The program awards 10 points for every dollar spent (before taxes), and after reaching 1,000 points you can redeem a coupon code for $10 off your next order. When you’re logged in, look for the Loyalty Points button at the bottom of your screen. By clicking that you can view your loyalty points and find information on redeeming awards.
